This 3.75-inch embroidered patch represents the Syrian Popular Resistance (SPR), a neo-Ba’athist insurgent group that emerged following the fall of the Bashar al-Assad government in 2024. The design features a masked fighter holding a rifle, set against the backdrop of the Syrian flag, with Arabic text that translates to “I carry my weapon with my hand to liberate my land” and “Syrian Popular Resistance”.

The SPR operates against Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), NATO-backed forces, and the Syrian transitional government, claiming to defend Alawite, Shiite, and Christian communities. The group has conducted attacks in Latakia, Rif Dimashq, Quneitra, and Hama since January 2025 and is reportedly supported by Hezbollah and external backers through cryptocurrency.
